Fragments from another time — that’s what this is.

That’s what stories are, aren’t they?

Snapshots. Pictures. With words, of memories.

Limitless

Simplicity

And she drops her full stops like she drops her aitches, but she will never forget where she came from. How could she?

How can you?

Delicate

Majesty

With all her airs and graces, Grace still didn’t wash her face.

Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall and yet he, too, suffered a great fall.

You can take a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.

We are men and we are animals and we are things.

We are stupid and we are futile and and we are punitive.

We are wise and we are nothing and we are infinite.

Sometimes it’s not about being the last one standing.

Sometimes it’s about forgiveness.

Perennially irreverent. Gently fierce. Fiercely loving. A thing of beauty, work of art & human being, just like you. https://bio.site/rachelclif.
