Hiatus. These stories won’t write themselves.

Or they will — but you won’t realise.

Busyness is business, sickness, affliction.

Busyness is time spent doing other things. Away, haze, dismay. Busyness is the way we live our lives these days.

It’s “cool”, right? Or at least necessary.

But I wasn’t too busy to write.

I had all the space and time I needed.

It wasn’t writer’s block.

I could’ve written — but I chose not to.

I wanted to live, instead.
